Trailblazers Youth Enhancement
Trailblazers Youth Enhancement is a unique and exciting program that combines the love of horses with the joy of learning for students 6th-10th grade. Our goal is to provide at-risk youth (trouble at school, incarcerated/non-involved parents, foster care, abusive/resistant behavior, etc.) with a healthy, positive atmosphere where they can learn and grow. Students in this program focus on educational enhancement while learning life/coping skills, horsemanship skills, along with the ins and outs of therapeutic riding in a 2-hour weekly lesson during spring and fall school semesters. Through mentoring relationships and a Christ-centered emphasis, students are encouraged in positive social behavior, focus, constructive physical activities, teamwork, trust, and responsibility.
We are currently serving students from Drumright, Cushing, and Jennings school districts. Contact the office at (918) 352-4110 if you are interested in having your student attend or if you would like to volunteer. To download the Trailblazers application form, click here.
